Photography

I submitted my illustration*hint hint*… Guess which one is mine… Haha~

I went for the opening of the exhibition at pigeonhole. It was crowded so i didn’t stay for long. These are the few photos i have taken with my little sad blackberry. I wish i have a good camera phone with me. I want an iphone or Samsung S3. Haiz… Anyway, the exhibition went really well. I mean look at the crowd!! unfortunately, the place is a bit small for such a huge crowd. The exhibition showcase a lot of artists work from poetry, photography to illustration. It’s quite amazing to see their works and feel the different personality of each artist. As an amateur illustrator, I will try to participate more in this event to expose and learn more in this exciting world of art.

“Traveling is a brutality. It forces you to trust strangers and to lose sight of all that familiar comfort of home and friends. You are constantly off balance. Nothing is yours except the essential things – air, sleep, dreams, the sea, the sky – all things tending towards the eternal or what we imagine of it.”
– Cesare Pavese

Travel to me is an adventure.Exploring every corners, enjoying every moments is what i like to do.Its also a way to get away from the busy life in Singapore. So what country shall i visit next?

A Trip to Taiwan with my Mom.
Realized that I actually kind of like Taiwan, I love the foods and the shopping part. Maybe because they are a bit similar to Japan. The difference is the signage and language is in Chinese.
In Taiwan, i cant stop eating and spending. Clothes are affordable and Foods are really delicious. Well, maybe not all the food i tried. There is a beef stew which was too overwhelming for me. Oh and I had a little difficulty speaking in pure Chinese language. Well, in Singapore, even through we do study Chinese, but most of the time, we speak Singlish. LOL.

*Singlish- Colloquial Singaporean English

The sun shines brightly on us as we begin our journey.

Welcome to Route 200 (I think).

The sound of train moving against the metal steel railway.

Which was once used, a long time ago.

Things we never noticed before, will soon disappear as the world advances.
Are we abandoning too much at this point?

Nevertheless, I hope someone will be by my side to accompany me down to the next station.

P.S: Not sure why, this became a little bit poetic. Oh well. And by the way, the picture above is my friend, Shantelle. 🙂
